Thank you for visiting Overleaf Gardens, a site dedicated to gardening, interior design and renovation, food and entertaining, art, and even a few viewpoints about philosophy and life.

I have created this website and blog to offer encouragement to myself and others who are in the process creating a garden and upgrading a home. Look for a regular “To-Do This Month” feature on ongoing projects and things I plan to do around the garden. I’ll cover planning, construction projects, planting, harvesting, and report on my own non-scientific field experiments as I explore the specific requirements of gardening at Overleaf and in Southeast Texas. I’ll also post about what it takes to maintain, upgrade, and functionally reimagine a fifty year old plus ranch style house for a 21st century lifestyle. I’ll feature ideas and images I find interesting, inspirational, or amusing, and include a few of my own original thoughts, photos, stories, artwork, and memories.
